Snart ‘hjemme’….

Vil komme ‘hjem’ til Cartagena om ca 24 timer. Har hatt en opplevelses- og lærerik tur. Vil takke alle som har vært med på de forskjellige etappene og fulgt med på bloggen.
Nå er det bare å forberede seg på å bli Charter-kaptein i det Karibiske hav. Sam og jeg har det bra!

Approaching Caribbean Sea…….

….last long leg soon finished. Entering Caribbean Sea tomorrow. Heading for Maracas Bay on Trinidads north coast. Nice weather and calm winds today but lot of fast sailing on this leg.

Steady towards Trinidad…….

….after a short visit on “Devils Island” where the french army captain Dreyfus was held as prisoner after an unjustly conviction of treason. Bestseller “Papillon” describes a succsessful escape from the island.

French Guiana !!

After one week at sea, feels like two days, we timed the tide perfectly and dropped anchour in french sand. Great place, Courou, but dirty waters shureley full of crocodilles. LG. Regards JanKaare.

So north we head with the sun on our back and the wind in our faces! Will we stop in French Guyana or just straight past it? Knowbody knows! Finally good wind and the engine can rest. Surviving thunder and lightning, no problem for the crew of the Black Dragonfly.

Equator again…….

Today we will cross the equator in nice and warm sailing weather. Making 6-7 knots with a good tail-stream pushing us north-west. Life is healthy on board with lots of fruit and vegetables every day.
